About Jenny
I always feel a bit strange writing about myself (unless it is for my book which I am writing). I wonder "what do people want to know?"...I sure don't want to bore you with details that mean nothing to you. I do participate on several social networking sites, and I have a blog, which will give you some insight into what I think, or what is on my mind. I think for this site and for my potential clients, what is most important is my ability to do my job, and do it well. I can tell you that I do what I do with confidence because I have invested the time, energy, money and research in trying to be the best at whatever I do.
When I decided to do eyelash extensions I went to two courses, and got two certifications. Why? I figured that it would not hurt to know as much as I can so that I can do the best job. I put a lot of thought and effort into what I decide to do with my life in all areas, and when it came to doing permanent make-up, I wanted only the best education I could get. I decided to get my Basic and Advanced Paramedical training and education from the Art Institute of Permanent Cosmetics, I took private classes for basic training, advanced training and paramedical training. I wanted to ensure that when I was finished with my training I would be ready to work on my own. When checking out other permanent make-up schools and training courses they offered classes with many students all vying for a few minutes of one on one hands on training, and then after the course is over they give you a certificate and send you on your way to figure it all out. I suppose that is why 80% of permanent make-up students never actually follow through with a career in permanent make-up, because they are not properly trained. I spend a lot of time correcting other technicians work., and it is heartbreaking to hear the stories that people tell about their permanent makeup experience.
I am a member of the SPCP, which hold's it's members to the highest standards.
I am a perfectionist at heart, and I feel like each person I work with is wearing my "work", so I want to make sure it is really good work.
